Don't Wait. Ever.
Never wait to be ready, to be inspired, to be prepared. You will probably never be.
Do
- Do it. It sounds simple — and it is — but it is not easy. Activation energy can be a mountain to climb.
- Remove any expectations. Assume the work will not be good.
- Do it nevertheless.
The act of doing will lead you, eventually, to where you want to be. In the process you have already created something. Practice doing like you practice everything else — Execute. Always. You will get better at it.
Avoid
- Overthinking.
- Overanalysing.
- Predicting the future.
- Having expectations.
Most of these are perfectionism in disguise.
